The objective of the department is to be capable of offering undergraduate and postgraduate education, self-improvement and following current developments, performing academic studies accepted through national and international authorities with its dynamic academic staff. Besides, teaching students that could be assigned as technical personnel, equipped with a modern, enterprising, self-confident, having knowledge at the international level will have an important impact on our country's future in the geosciences and related industries.
